It’s fruity, clean and crisp. Brewed with lager malts and fermented with ale yeast at a low temperature it is then lagered for a minimum of 4 weeks, and lightly hopped with Hallertau Blanc.
As with all of our beers, when it comes to naming we try and link up with some great stories about our local park – Richmond Park. The codename ‘Phantom’ was given to the special recon unit based in the Park during WW2 which maintained vital lines of communication during the war. Learn more about this here.
We first brewed this beer 3 years ago because there were plenty of pilsners and hells lagers around; we wanted to be more adventurous.
